I'm Adam Stallings and I’m proud to announce my candidacy for the Tennessee House of Representatives, District 2.
Over the past few years, I’ve watched our community closely—and I’ve heard your cries for change.
I’ve seen hardworking families struggle to put food on the table while grocery prices skyrocket.
I’ve seen our dedicated teachers—talented, educated professionals—work tirelessly in a system that continues to fail both them and our students.
I’ve spoken with veterans who answered the call to defend our freedoms, only to return home and face neglect instead of the support they were promised.
I’ve driven the same roads you have—roads that are not just in need of repair, but complete reconstruction. Safe and reliable infrastructure should not be a luxury in Tennessee—it’s a right.
I stand with our law enforcement—men and women who risk their lives every day to protect our communities. Yet too often, they are underpaid, under-equipped, and unsupported.
And to our farmers—I hear you loud and clear. Tennessee is the Agriculture State. But too many of your lands are being swallowed up by developers looking for profits, not produce. We must protect our farmland and preserve your livelihood.
I’m appalled by the out-of-state investors buying up our beautiful buildings, letting them decay, and using them as tax shelters rather than economic engines. These properties could be thriving businesses, job creators, and sources of local pride. Instead, they’re symbols of neglect.
Let’s be honest: we have serious issues—and the people of East Tennessee deserve a serious voice.
I’m tired of the elite few pushing their personal agendas while silencing the needs of the many. I’m tired of special interests deciding our future behind closed doors. And I know you are too.

I live here. I’ve struggled here. I’ve hoped here. And I believe we deserve better.
We need leadership that reflects our traditional values—but with the courage to embrace a forward-thinking, honest approach to governance. Not one corrupted by power or profit—but one rooted in community, integrity, and accessibility.

• A truly open-door office—with open communication and accessible meetings
• Relentless work toward economic prosperity for Kingsport, Bristol, and Blountville and all of Tennessee
• Fierce advocacy for education, infrastructure, agriculture, our beloved veterans, and law enforcement
I’m no stranger to a hard fight—and I’m ready to fight for you.
We have serious challenges, but we also have unbreakable resolve. Time and time again, we’ve come together as one community. Now is the time to do it again.
